Dr. Elwood F. "Ed" Holton III, is the Jones S. Davis Distinguished Professor of Human Resource, Leadership and Organization Development at Louisiana State University, USA. He serves as coordinator of the Human Resource and Leadership Development concentration and was the founder of the program. Dr. Holton is a member of the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame, former President of the Academy of Human Resource development and was the founding editor of Human Resource Development Review. He has led efforts to create the world-renowned Learning Transfer System Inventory over the last 17 years. With over 200 articles and 17 books, he is widely considered to be an international expert on human resource development, adult education and particularly learning transfer. Dr. Reid A. Bates is Professor of Human Resource, Leadership and Organization Development at Louisiana State University, USA.Dr. Bates has been co-leader of the Learning Transfer research program over the last 15 years, including being co-author of the Learning Transfer System Inventory. His extensive international experience has been key to establishing the global validity of the LTSI. With over 150 articles, he is widely considered an expert on international HRD. |Dr. Mike Burnett|
Dr. Michael Burnett is Professor and Director of the School of Human Resource Education & Workforce Development. His specialty is Research Methods and he teaches the graduate courses in research that all our M.S. and Ph.D. students take. He is a full member of the graduate faculty and serves on many of our doctoral committees. He received his Ph.D. from Ohio State and an M.S. and B.S. from Clemson University. Dr. J. P. Hatala is an Adjunct Professor of HRLD and also Assistant Professor of HRD at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Hatala was formerly an Assistant Professor in our School of Human Resource education and has maintained an active role in our program. He is an affiliate member of our graduate faculty. With over 12 years of industry experience in training, including 6 years as a Director of training, he is also an international expert on social capital and networking.
